Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only a week from tomorrow?! It seems as though time is flying by this fall!
Here's a cute craft idea that we wanted to share with you. It would make a great project for preschoolers and their families to do together while celebrating all of the blessings God gives to us. Once you're finished, share your pictures on our Facebook page. We'd love to see your trees filled with leaves of thankfulness!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
- Materials
- Small tree branch
- Flowerpot
- Pebbles, rocks, or marbles
- Card stock or colored paper
- Hole punch
- Twine or string
- Clear holiday lights (optional)
Total Time Needed: 1 Hour
- Instructions
To make the tree, insert a branch in a flowerpot filled with pebbles, rocks, or marbles. Cut leaf shapes from card stock or colored paper, use a hole punch to make a hole in each, and attach a loop of twine or string.
At your gathering, have guests jot down a note of thanks on a leaf and hang it from the tree.
